Our Wood Makerspace Program provides community members with access to woodworking tools, a shared workspace, and resources to complete their projects in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Access to a table saw, jointer, planer, compound mitre saw, sanders, band saw, drill press, and various hand tools.

Important Shop Details
Will my membership request be automatically approved?
A joining member is pending until they sign a waiver and complete a safety orientation and skills assessment. Only after that they can book time in space with the understanding of only using the tools they have been cleared for, except with strict guidance from someone with the full safety clearance.
Is membership free?
There is an annual membership fee of $100. The registration fee must be paid before a new member is approved and given access to the Member Portal.
Are there required safety orientations/procedures before using any equipment?
Yes, every member will have a safety orientation and assessment before they can use large shop tools. Workshop attendance may be required for some tools and participants will be charged a fee.
What are members responsible for?
- Their own safety and any members using the space
- Proper use and care for equipment and tools
- Cleaning up as they go and before they leave.
- Notifying the shopmaster of any tools that are not functioning properly
- For volunteers: tracking volunteer hours and notifying the shopmaster
Is there storage for projects & personal tools?
Limited storage for personal tools and projects is available for an additional monthly fee if space permits..
